We are looking for an engineer to join our SRE team and help us focus on building out our CI/CD platform. This person would work cross-functionally across engineering, focusing on building, automating, and maintaining our pipelines from scratch. We’re looking for excited individuals who want to be immersed in our AWS environment and automation, and believe in our focus on Availability, Reliability and Durability.

Your daily responsibilities include

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Build, automate, maintain, scale, and monitor all PI systems using best practices, with reliability and scalability in mind
  • Work closely with engineering teams to debug and fix issues as they arise
  • Implement high-quality release engineering practices to facilitate rapid development, safe changes, and engineer productivity
  • Build generally reusable solutions and deployment patterns to help us innovate more rapidly
  • Implement best practices in build pipeline development and build artifact promotion
  • Identify weaknesses in our automation and infrastructure and dives headfirst into fixing them
  • Design, build, and implement internal tooling to facilitate other SRE and Engineering teams

  • 2+ years building CI/CD pipelines and using pipeline tooling, specifically with Jenkins
  • 2+ years working heavily within an AWS cloud environment (ECS, Lambda, HA Architecture)
  • 2+ years of high-level programming experience in Python or Go, working with RESTful APIs
  • Strong Docker production experience (Docker Swarm, ECS, Kubernetes, etc)
  • Experience with production support issues, and how to remediate in a timely manner
  • Strong familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
  • Experience working with applications requiring compliance audits
