Leading data visualization efforts by creating crystal clear, compelling visualizations of data in modern BI platforms – then teasing out and sharing insights from that data. You have top-notch communication skills and you’re in your element juggling priorities in a fast-paced setting where results are everything. You’ll have a significant impact on our ability to solve problems and fulfill analytics needs. Our cloud-based data warehouse fuels the great work our Analytics team does. Your job is to model the raw data into clean, well-defined, analytics-ready datasets, acting as the bridge between Data Engineering and Analytics. Additionally, helping to train end users and enable all employees to engage in self service analytics.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • This role will require collaboration with end users, project stakeholders, and support partners to identify needs, goals, metric measurements, and business models which will result in easy to understand interfaces and enable end users to quickly identify key themes within the data.
  • Consult on and help with the making of creative data visualization to give users the best experience possible.
  • Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements
  • Implement data best practices to ensure a common and recognizable visual language for all data users and sources.
  • Identify and certify authoritative data sources and drive element-level identification of ‘gold source’ rule
  • Coordinate, document, and maintain reporting procedures and processes that efficiently enhance data access.
  • Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
  • Responsible for routine proactive communication on work performed to support specific department focus and initiatives.
  • Partner across data engineering & data science and other functional teams to accelerate and use visualization strategies, data capabilities, and insights as part of the company’s integrated data strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance and utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Identify and participate in data & dashboard change and improvement requests.
  • Prioritize and drive the integration and adoption of all necessary tools, processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for data quality and data accuracy across specific department focus and initiatives
  • Experience with statistical analysis, regression modeling and forecasting, time series analysis, data mining, financial analysis, and demand modeling
  • Focus on the Improvement of Service quality, SLA Measurement & Reporting, Root Cause Analysis and Improvement, Training, Quality Assurance & Control, Auditing and Risk Management.
  • Be a part of a team that is in charge of building end-to-end digital transformation capabilities and lead fast moving development teams using Agile methodologies. 


  • 5+ years of related experience; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or other related quantitative field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to see raw data, understand how it can best be reported or visualized on a case-by-case basis, and bring it to life in an intuitive and detailed format.
  • Ability to write custom calculations within the database and visualization tools.
  • Working understanding of relational database tables (write SQL queries and create DBT models)
  • Responsible for extracting and translating data into interactive graphics, data visualizations and dashboards using the appropriate tools.
  • Manipulate data from primary or secondary data sources to produce complex reports and data sets; streamline data to eliminate duplication of efforts and manual data manipulation.
  • Apply reproducible workflows and data visualization techniques to capture and communicate complex data-intensive concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Mode - an advantage
  • Experience with AWS Redshift - an advantage
  • Experience with Postgres - an advantage
  • Experience with APIs - an advantage
  • Experience with Python, R, DBT - an advantage
  • Experience in the gaming industry - an advantage
