Your daily responsibilities include

What you’ll be working on

  • Define approach to testing complex systems
  • Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information
  • Work in an agile software development environment and ensure alignment with all agile teams
  • Work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI to back-end API and micro services 

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, execute, monitor, and improve testing process
  • Create thorough test cases covering requirements, happy path functionality, and edge cases
  • Create detailed defect reports including reproducible steps, logs, relevant environment settings, etc.
  • Resolve technical issues related to testing
  • Track the progress of testing efforts for multiple features simultaneously
  • Prioritize and delegate work to multiple team members to meet release deadlines
  • Track and resolve release gating issues

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in QA field
  • Good working knowledge of browser developer tools
  • Good working knowledge of Android Studio and Xcode
  • Knowledge of RESTful API requests/responses
  • Familiar with tools for interacting with and manipulating API requests and responses
  • Able to read technical documentation to quickly gain working knowledge of new features
  • Able to perform defect root cause analysis (Backend vs UI vs Environment)
