We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our expanding Creative Team and support the production of marketing assets for Penn Interactive’s various brands - Barstool Sportsbook and Casino, HollywoodCasino.com, myChoice Social Casino and more. As a member of the creative team, you will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the marketing and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging that will connect with our target audiences.

To be successful in this role, you must be a proficient writer, excellent with time-management, organized and knowledgeable about sports betting and casino play. Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus!

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

• Write original copy and edit content for a range of Sportsbook and Casino marketing materials including social posts, emails, promo pages, game descriptions, video titles & more.
• Interpret promotional briefs to develop and produce creative concepts and marketing messages.
• Collaborate with the acquisition, retention and design teams on marketing messages from concept development to delivery of a final product.
• Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team.
• Revise copy based on internal feedback/direction.
• Proofread and ensure copy consistency across all customer facing marketing collateral.
• Assist in updating copy within marketing graphics when needed.
• Communicate project status and deadlines to the Creative Director as needed to ensure personal and department goals are met or exceeded.
• Juggle multiple projects at once with varying deadlines, brand guidelines and marketing needs.
• Attend team and department meetings.
• Other creative duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, english, communications, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 year professional copywriting experience.
• A brilliant portfolio demonstrating copywriting expertise.
• Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability.
• Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic understanding of copywriting principles as they relate to digital marketing.
• Passionate about visual communication and translating storytelling into compelling visual solutions.
• High-level verbal, written, listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with marketers from all backgrounds to drive the business forward through inspiring, strategic copywriting.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven work environment.
• Ability to work short-notice overtime hours on an as-needed basis.
• Passionate about sports, sports betting and casino gaming.
