Penn Interactive (PI) is an interactive gaming company headquartered in Philadelphia. PI is the digital arm of Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ: PENN), the largest regional casino operator in the U.S.). The successful candidate will be capable of delivering results with and through colleagues and peers, both cross-functionally and cross-jurisdictionally. As the business rapidly grows, the Marketing Compliance Analyst will assist in assessing business needs and operational efficiencies. 

 

The position will also play a vital role in key areas such as: Marketing Asset Review and Submission to Regulators, Review and Submission of Promotional Terms and Conditions to Regulators, Industry Research, and Ensuring Activation Events are Compliant.

Your daily responsibilities include

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

 

  • Assists the Manager of Marketing Compliance & Partnerships and team members to ensure the PI Marketing Department remains compliant with state regulations and industry standards.
  • Reviews and provides feedback for all marketing assets for the interactive sportsbook and casino platforms under the Penn National Brands. Primarily the interactive casino platforms.
  • Assists the Manager of Marketing Compliance & Partnerships in managing, reviewing, and filing all promotional terms and conditions for the interactive sportsbook and casino platforms under the Penn National Brands. Primarily the interactive casino platforms.
  • Supports the Manager of Marketing Compliance & Partnerships and Compliance Department, to monitor Barstool employees and social media accounts to ensure compliance with state regulations and industry standards.
  • Assists the Manager of Marketing Compliance & Partnerships in ensuring marketing activation events are compliant with state regulations and industry standards.
  • Assists the Manager of Marketing Compliance & Partnerships in serving the compliance needs of the Penn Interactive Marketing Department.
  • Conducts industry research to further business goals.
  • Carries out analyses of marketing processes to identify areas to improve efficiency and assist with developing internal policies and operating procedures.
  • Assists with identifying and anticipating issues that may negatively impact business and develop/implement operations-based solutions.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 1+ years of work experience within a similar role. Experience in the Gambling industry is a plus.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to any regulatory standards and changes.
  • Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver.
  • Ability to understand regulatory requirements for marketing, operations and products.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple departments.
  • Extreme attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to apply responsibilities to everyday business situations with minimal direction; prioritizes effectively.
  • Ability to analyze and document necessary business processes.
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Effective written communication skills required.
  • Results oriented, goal oriented and self-motivated.
  • Collaborate within a team across departments by supporting the organization’s needs through cross-functional relationships (i.e., Marketing).
  • Ability to manage time efficiently. Effectively communicate with excellent execution to ensure the achievement of personal and company objectives.

  • Must be able to develop and maintain cordial and professional relationships with all levels of the business.
  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

Location/Work Hours 

The primary office location for this position will be located in Philadelphia PA or remote.

 

Language Skills 

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

 

Reasoning Ability 

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Position requires licensing in applicable states that PI operates, which is subject to change.

Travel Requirements

This position is expected to travel 10% of the time.
